I went to the top of the hill with my Heltec Meshtastic device and managed to communicate with several people. I aw 18 other nodes to communicate with. That amazing. some were 11km away. I decided that I need to build a proper relay. Because my house is in a valley, I cannot see any other nodes. So I have ordered a bunch of cheap parts from Aliexpress. That should cover everything that I need. Greg loved what I did. He has ordered one too. I think he will have a lot of fun. Tomorrow, as well as being in the office, I need to find accommodation for our Scafell Pike trip in a few weeks. James and Jay are coming with me.
