# 12:00
I am off work today. Finally nice to have some time off. I am trying to catch up a bit with writing. My home Internet is down! The mobile transmitter is down. Thanks a bunch VirginMedia & Vodafone. I can't do anything that requires any communication.
I have a rash on my arm. Something happened a couple of nights ago while sleeping. I striped my bed to wash it today, and found a barley seed from the fields. One of the ones with spines on it. I wonder if that was what irritated my skin. I have been trying to put cream on it for a few days, but it is taking ages to go away.
Argh. I need to give Jonas his medication. I better go and do that. Back later.

I called Virgin Media. They know there is problem, but they couldn't tell me when it world be fixed. I couldn't even talk to a human. Totally, an automated service. Weirdly, I got an email from Starlink yesterday about their new mobile service. I wonder if that would be good as a backup. I have had too many outages recently.

I got back from the Cafe, and the Internet is back. Still no mobile signal. That seems to be taking weeks to fix. The date we keep hearing for the fix is 5th August. That is ridiculous. I think half the problem is that people keep objecting to the planning applications for 5G transmitter sites. That is probably the reason why the UK is now ranked 22 out of 25 for 5G rollout. Where my house is, there is 1 transmitter. If that goes down, there is no backup.

Time to publish. That will cover a few days in one go. Sorry if you are someone that reads this.
