# 23:00 Today we went to visit Fabre and Monique and their family in the new house they have just bought in Ede. It was a lovely house. It feels really light and airy. I love that they have some mature fruit trees in the garden. That is amazing to me. I love having fruit trees. It is difficult for ours. They are still quite young and Millie is able to help herself to any of the fruit that she can reach. I went into the bookshop in Doorn yesterday. That is one of my favourite places to go. The owner has a beautiful black Labrador that sits in the shop. Such a nice dog, and loves to be fussed over. It even nipped my ear because it got so excited. It didn’t hurt. I hope it will be there again next year when we come.
